We started this project by removing the old cedar shingles and installing new 5/8” plywood over the entire roof deck.
In the hidden gutters we used 24” wide 60-mil EPDM membrane with new copper drains.
Over the new plywood we used a high temperature self-adhering membrane.
When time came to install the new Enviroshake product we made sure to use 1 ½" Stainless steel nails in all the shingles.
