This was a concrete tile conversion. The customer decided to go with our premium Certainteed Northgate SBS shingles. It was a great choice for a longer lasting roof system! Certainreed diamond deck synthetic underlay was installed on entire roof deck. A 45 mil EPDM rubber membrane was installed on all hidden gutters with new drains and a custom 26 gauge flashing was installed over the whole perimeter of the roof area. The roof on this home was leaking onto the deck below and had standing water issues. There were multiple problems with the initial installation, so we took it down to the bare bones and gave it a whole new roof. We removed this old membrane and started from the plywood below. It always takes extra attention to waterproof windows this low. We installed new metal roof panels to overlap the new flat roof. Using the old panels was not a option. To waterproof the windows correc
